CHARLY ASSALY
Charly Assaly is the founder and CEO of Prestige Hospitably. He brings over 30 years of extensive luxury experience in the hospitality industry and has worked for top major hotel brands. He currently has partnered with some of the most prestigious Italian fashion brand and created extensions of their brand through amazing Six-Star level Hotels, Resorts, Spas and Residences. Before devoting his work full-time to Prestige Hospitality, Charly was President and Partner at Buddha Bar Hotels, Resorts and Spas Worldwide where he created the hospitality brand. Prior to this he held several positions that gave him the experience of creating unique brand concepts while delivering on service and design. He created, developed, and managed the renowned Shore Club Hotel in South Beach and The Bryant Park Hotel in New York while holding the position of Vice President of the company. He served as the Director of new Development for Sol Melia Hotels and Resorts for North and Central America (28 hotels in all) where he was responsible for evolving each brand while delivering unique experiences. Prior positions included working at Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where he managed the famous St. Francis hotel in San Francisco and a luxury collection hotel in Washington D.C. Additionally, Charly was the Hotel Manager of The Four Seasons New York, known for the world’s best service, quality and standards. Charly began his career at Hyatt Hotels and held various positions including regional food and beverage director for the east coast of USA, General Manager of the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill and spent three years working at Hyatt Hotels of Hawaii, opened the Grand Hyatt Washington and Hyatt Regency Princeton as well as being on the opening team for various other Hyatt hotels throughout the United States. While at Hyatt he received the honor of being named Food and Beverage Director of the Year Award and was nominated for General Manager of the Year. Charly has been a guest lecturer at Cornell University and has taught a hotel course at Ohio State University. He also served on the advisory board of the St. Regis brand with Starwood. Charly attended Cornell University, University of Nebraska and The Hotel School Beirut. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
